When I placed this circa 1920's vintage necklace around my neck, I couldn't help but to think—this was truly something extraordinary. Though I hadn't intended to make a purchase, I found myself reluctant to part with it. Then, as if by fate, I turned it over to discover a beautiful inscription on the back: the initials of each of my boys encircling mine in the center. It was as though this necklace had chosen me.
